Welcome to the website of the Centre d'études européennes!

The newest of the different research centres at Sciences Po, the CEE brings together some eighty researcher/lecturers, both senior and junior researchers (doctoral, post-doctoral and research assistants), as well as around twenty associate research fellows from France and abroad.

The Centre’s scientific project rests on a multidisciplinary and comparative approach to politics, taking as principal themes the study of European construction and its impact, the articulation between policies and politics and the role of methodological questions in contemporary research. In these spheres, the Centre has set itself ambitious objectives as regards scientific excellence, the transmission of knowledge and the training of top-level research students.

International openness is a strong characteristic of the Centre. The majority of our research projects include an international and/or comparative dimension and are managed in close association with partners from all over the world. In this way, we mean to bring our contribution to the international prestige of the research conducted at Sciences Po.
